About SensLi
SensLi is a line of precision instruments developed by CAMX Power for fast, high-sensitivity measurement of self-discharge in Li-ion cells. Built on our proprietary Cell Screening Technology, SensLi overcomes the onerous time vs. sensitivity tradeoffs of traditional OCV monitoring.
At CAMX Power, we’ve spent decades advancing Li-ion battery science and engineering across materials, cells, and systems. A trusted partner in battery safety, our track record includes high-profile field failure analyses in collaboration with both commercial and government stakeholders. In the course of our work we’ve developed multiple technologies for detecting and measuring self-discharge—driven by a fundamental understanding of how internal shorts form, evolve, and in some cases result in catastrophic failure.
SensLi emerged from this deep technical foundation—not just as a research tool, but as a practical solution to a persistent industry gap: the need to rigorously screen cells for self-discharge in timeframes compatible with modern production cycles.
Founded in 2014 as a spinout from our affiliate TIAX, CAMX Power is based near Boston, Massachusetts. Our mission is to develop and transition technologies that improve Li-ion safety, performance, and manufacturability—serving innovators across the battery supply chain.
