Introducing the CST100 series

Analyze an entire shipping box of one hundred 18650 cells in a single scan cycle with the CST100DR7-D1. The CST100DR7-D2 is optionally configurable to support 21700 cells. Both models are built around the precision electronics that achieve up to 10MΩ self-discharge sensitivity in a 12-hour scan cycle.

features

  • The CST100 packs 100 channels into a compact benchtop unit. The cell holders are arranged in a 10×10 array, as in a typical 18650 shipping box, streamlining workflow and simplifying cell identification.

  • Faster, better self-discharge screening with MΩ-range sensitivity at throughputs of 2 to 3 scan cycles per day.

  • The CST100 series of instruments uses a single USB-B port for both power and communications. Simply install the SensLi software on your PC, connect the CST100 to a USB port, and you’re ready to scan. A single PC can support up to five CST100 instruments concurrently.

  • Equilibration and scan times are easily configured to optimize the scan cycle for your workflow using the SensLi software. Scan output files—including metadata, CST grade and OCV for each cell under test, as well as the raw CST scan data—are text-based for straightforward integration with existing data management systems.

  • The last four channels on CST100 instruments are equipped with surrogate self-discharge resistances that can be independently switched to 100kΩ, 200kΩ, 500kΩ, 1MΩ, or disabled. This facilitates the collection of reference data to establish the relationship between self-discharge and CST grade for a given cell type and state-of-charge (SoC).
